Why did they make this big deal about Mercedes being sick, when she didn’t even have a big part? As much as I hate Rachel’s stank ass, it would’ve made more sense if she was the sick one, and then they gave her part to Tina and Quinn. 

And even though they gave the part to Tina and Quinn because Mercedes was sick, why didn’t they give it back to Mercedes when she came back, but still allow Quinn and Tina to perform with the TTs? WHAT THE FUCK GLEE? DO YOU HATE MERCEDES THAT MUCH? WHAT DID AMBER DO?

Because Mercedes actually isn’t a selfish spotlight hog unlike how fandom wants to cast her. That was actually pretty in character for her. She doesn’t mind sharing it, especially not with two of her besties - one who just got out of a wheelchair and the other who just expressed her discontent at being ignored. I actually didn’t mind that. What I minded was no audition at all for the solo. Clearly, without Mercedes, the team becomes severely unglued. They did this before in 3x04 and they did it again here. Folk fighting and panicking even as they give themselves pep talks they barely believed. Whatever - she performed and they won. Welp.
